MUSIC

Faith Christian School believes musical training is essential to a well-rounded education. Our 1st-4th grade students have weekly music classes where they learn timing, notes and individual instruments (bells, recorders, and tone chimes). Students in 5th grade and above have the opportunity to participate in the FCS Band as well.

CHOIR

Choir focuses on developing students’ voices and talents to honor the Lord. The choirs also learn to perform through school concerts, holiday concerts at community sites and the fine arts meet sponsored by MACS, the Michigan Association of Christian Schools.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Through Faith Music Ministries, FCS offers private music and voice lessons by trained musicians at school. Students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of instruments for their area of study.

ART

Faith Christian School offers weekly art classes to our elementary and secondary students. An art teacher meets with each class to teach them a variety of art techniques. Students in grades 4-12 have the opportunity to enter their artwork in the fine arts meet sponsored by MACS.

SPEECH & DRAMA

Speech, Communication, and Drama classes are offered on the high school level. The students are encouraged to use their strengthened talents in competition in our bi-annual school play as well as in the MACS fine arts competition.
